Founded in 2010, EMRD is now in it’s second decade of roller derby. After several years as full members of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association, the international governing body for women's flat-track roller derby leagues, our flagship team, the Hellbilly Heartbreakers finished 2019 with a ranking of 272 in the world!

The Mission of Our Organization
Our league is a women's flat-track roller derby league located in the Southern Tier of Western New York, owned and operated by skaters.
We are committed to redefining the classic sport of roller derby, while giving it relevance in the 21st century. Flat-track roller derby is a full contact sport played by independent, strong skaters. As a Women's Flat Track Derby Association league, EMRD welcomes any individual of a marginalized gender. Girls, Gays, and Theys are all welcome here!
It is our goal to provide league members a safe and professional environment so that they can progress in the sport, but to also provide an opportunity for athleticism, camaraderie, and self-expression.
We inspire on and off the rink; we serve the community, get fit, and have fun.

We will promote development and recognition of flat track roller derby internationally by collaborating, competing and building camaraderie with sister leagues.
We will remain an organization for all women, with powerful ties to our community and each other. We will support our community through charitable giving, volunteerism and awareness, all the while, participating in community events to continue visibility for our league and our sponsors
If you are interested in becoming a skater or referee (refs of all genders welcome), drop by our practice space: 640 Main St, Limestone, NY on Tuesdays/Thursdays 7:30pm-9:30pm or Sundays 3 -5pm.
